Engaging students in product development

Last year we wrote a blog post regarding a cool academic initiative developed by the Cybernetics Faculty (CSIE). Students from the senior year were invited to form teams and build a product during the first semester using Web and Mobile technologies. This March Eduard had the opportunity to share the results of the competition during BucharestJS #EduTech Meetup.
The winning team is call FullStackers. A 5 team members that managed to develop and deliver a functional real time application. The final product is called Sisyphean, an application used by teachers to launch quick quizzes for students. You can download the app and test it from Google Store here.

Eduard and Catalin Iordache (winning team representative) shared their story from a teacher / student perspective (full video below in romanian).
Catalin presented the tech stack used, what they learned from the experience and demo the winning product (min 21:14). We are most proud of their achievement and wish them best of luck in getting best results during their final exams.
